DJ CARL ONE is a seasoned professional DJ and Master of Ceremonies entertainer based in Orange County. His experience spans over 20 years playing all genres of music for countless local and destination Weddings, Private, Corporate, Hotel, Bar, Club, and Retail Store events, in addition to various residencies.
DJ CARL ONE is a true mix DJ who’s energetic personality is fun and engaging but not over top. He blends songs seamlessly together to keep the energy flowing. He creates song mashups which provide a unique twist to old favorites, and curates customized playlists which ultimately makes your experience memorable.

Introduced to vinyl record mixing in high school, he was immediately hooked. His DJ career began playing in exclusive nightclubs throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties and mixing live on LA Radio. After investing in his own equipment, he soon evolved into a successful full-service DJ.
When he started it was 2 turntables, a microphone, milk crates of vinyl records, and big heavy speakers. As technology advanced, he upgraded to a dual CD player, 1000+ CDs, and smaller high-power speakers. Now its 2 MacBook PRO laptops, terabytes of music, an array of professional grade speakers, LED lighting and atmospheric effects, and state-of-the art Photo Booths.
DJ CARL ONE is a true professional who doesn’t just provide you lip service. He works together with you to deliver YOUR VISION for your event, plays the music YOU want, coordinates well with other vendors, and most importantly pays attention to every detail to ensure your event will be great.

An important part of making our night so special was Carl Grant (aka DJ CARL ONE). He did an exceptional job of balancing the musical tastes of younger and older generations, encouraging people to have fun throughout the occasion through the utilization of game-type dances like the Conga Line and Cha-Cha Slide, and taking into consideration the amount of involvement he would have during the night based on Lindsay’s desires. DJ Carl is a multi-faceted party facilitator who is equally comfortable playing oldies or spinning club music. Lindsay and I received many compliments throughout the night on how well he did. Lindsay and I also had the opportunity to see DJ Carl in action when he worked at Lindsay’s Mom, Diana, and Step-Dad, Murray’s, wedding. He did the same remarkable job at that wedding that he did at ours.
